From the beginning of time, man has asked the question... “What is a great sauce that’s good on everything?” Now we’ve answered that age old question... It’s Big Woody Sauce!! Great on chicken, pork, beef, whatever! Some people even put it on vegetables!
Bryan’s Blend was created in 1988, but its secrets date back to the early 1900’s. It’s really a slightly-doctored variety of my grandmother’s recipe from South Carolina, which is considered by many as one of the great barbecue meccas. “Southern Style” is not a ketchup-based sauce like that you’ll find in grocery stores. It’s a sweet n’ spicy blend that folks just can’t get enough of!
I’m Bryan Wood , and I’d like to invite you to try my barbecue sauce. I started making Bryan’s Blend in 1988 for my special customers with my “real job”. ( I sell golf course and athletic field equipment.) In the fall of 1989, three grocery stores in my hometown decided to carry my sauce. These stores were Hy-Vee, Piggly Wiggly, and Savages, but since I have thousands of customers throughout the Midwest, we wound up shipping a lot of sauce to people who wanted more. This brings us to where we are now... Going Global!!!
